Team Natural Outdoors _ Camp Fire Talk _ Anybody seeing any Rut activity

Posted by: slammer Oct 10 2017, 09:51 AM

A couple weeks ago in one of the preserve areas, I saw some bucks running around an hour before sunset.
That was in Southwest Duval County...they looked like they were on a 'mission'.
Was wondering if anyone is seeing any rut activity...
Hunted marsh hens yesterday and it was 88 degrees. A little cool weather is in order.

Maybe some of this sweep to the east and cool us down?

I hope the weather cools down and the does heat up and the bucks get stupid. That would be a good day in the woods. Maybe , sometime near muzzle loader season this will happen and we can stack them up like coed wood . I sure would like some fresh venison....

Muzzleloader in Nassau County always seems to produce nice bucks.

usually the week of and the week before and after muzzleloader up in Charlton county is the best...seems to be that way regardless of the weather. Me and Kylie will be up there this weekend
